It is raining! Hopefully this is the end of our dry spell. It is pretty windy as well but I don't mind as long as we get more rain. I like sleeping in rainy weather; it's very relaxing

This isn't my machine, just a picture of one similar. I think mine will work when Hubby puts the belt back on.

I miss antiquing. I used to do it often on weekends, especially after a rough week at work. I bought a sewing machine in a similar cabinet but the machine itself was quite a bit newer. I ended up selling it when we moved.

It's been raining for 24 hours and I'm still sneezing like crazy. On a happy note, my rain barrel is full.

I had an antique treddle sewing machine when I was in high school. My mom had it refurbished and I actually used it for many projects. I left it at home when I went to college. It didn't survive my parent's household move from the US to Germany and back again.

Anyway, thanks for the trip down memory lane.

The rain is beautiful. I imagine when the sun comes out things will start to green up in a hurry.
I'm glad that you enjoyed the trip down memory lane. My grandmother had on when I was growing up and I've wanted on ever since.
