01 --- For Altea

Nov 12, 2009 21:41

Vastly different from Altea. I hope it will fair well in my absence, but I am reasonably certain that under the watchful eye of my dear sister, all shall be at peace and in time, as it once was ( Read more... )

Ah, I, myself, understand how strange the technology here may be. I have only now begun to get more used to it and its usages. In my own homeland of Popples, we never used these 'computer' machines, haha~ I do, however, enjoy them. I do love speaking to the fellow students and staff on here.

It is a pleasure to meet you, Prince Marth~ Goodness, I did not think we would have more royalty here. My good friend herself who comes here is also a princess.

Oho! I did forget to introduce myself, my apologies. You may call me Selene.

We have nothing of this sort in Altea either, and yet I can quite easily see how they are convenient here. I do look forward to being able to fully utilize the particular assets it will offer.

I have heard from various that there appears to be a collection of royalty here. I suppose I did not expect to meet any while I was here, but royalty or not, I am still just as pleased to be able to meet others.

Miss Selene, it's very much a pleasure.

They will have plenty to offer~ I am very surprised at the usage for messaging and searching. I have learned of many new books I must try to read at the library through the internet~ *thankfully Selene will never learn about fanfiction ever*

I only know about Princess Lip, but my, if there are more, I am pleasantly surprised, haha~

Why thank you, sir. *if she could bow through the net, she would be*

What a unique and fascinating implement. It seems to do a world of wonder toward the lines of good.

It would seem there are more, perhaps. It is difficult to say as those who have said such did not offer an estimate in quantity. Again, however, the number is quite a bit unnecessary. What should matter more is the quality of a person.

Marth is just fine, if you wish to call me such.

Dang, you type pretty good for a first timer on the computer! Don't worry, you'd get used to stuff like this in no time.

It would certainly seem that way, however, it does take me some time to appropriately convey my messages through this unique writing style. I cannot say I am quite familiar with this board and the characters upon it. In time, I imagine; most simply in time.

*fff Marth's language is kinda breaking Mac's brain. Mac has the elegance of zero*

But you really seem to be gettin' it! I'm no computer wiz myself but the basic stuff will come on eventually.

Oh, and it's nice to meetcha! I'm Mac.

I am making that attempt, of course. I will simply keep trying.

A privilege, Mac. Have you only recently come as well, or have you more experience with your time here?

Greetings Marth, you return at last. Your memory seems-- I can't help but feel there's something different-- Do you remember me...?

How are you?

I return...? Perhaps you have mistaken me for another? It would not come as a surprise that someone similar to me would have arrived before. I must confess that I know not who you are...

I am adjusting appropriately, I think. The people here are kind. The environment is aesthetically becoming. How do you do, then?

We used to be roomm-- Ah, well.

My apologies. I am Poo, Prince of Dalaam, and well, thank you for asking. Does Altea engage in foreign trade?

I... really truly do not recall...

Prince Poo, then. It is a privilege, I assure you. Altea certainly does. The kingdom may need it now more than it ever has before. I'm hoping such can occur in my stay here.

A prince?

I remember when I was first given a computer I hadn't the faintest idea what to do with it. Everything seemed so complicated and fascinating. I trust you're adjusting well?

That is correct. The prince of Altea, a kingdom on an island that seems more than far away from here.

I am attempting to. All things require some time for growing accustomed, however. Fortunately, I've plenty of time in my stay here. May I the privilege of knowing with whom I speak?

That's true. I'm sure it will be second nature in no time at all.

Princess Zelda of Hyrule. It's an honor to meet you, Marth.

I'm certain you're correct.

Princess Zelda, the honor is mine, I assure you.

You don't have to write all fancy like that. You don't have to type formal, you just gotta type like how you talk.

I'm Max, I'm the Orange Star Army's direct combat specialist, and I'm the football team captain here at school.

I do write how I speak. Does it seem perhaps that I do not?

A combat specialist? Here? Really? It should not serve as a surprise. This academy does focus upon that, I suppose. Therefore I should have anticipated such. It is a privilege to meet you, Max. Although I must inquire, what is this "football" you speak of?

tank_rockarms November 14 2009, 23:24:33 UTC
That's how you talk? Sorta like Javier. Maybe you're from the same place as Javier. You know a place called Green Earth? Javier talks like you do, he's from Green Earth.

Yup, my specialty is heavy weapons, tanks, subs, cruisers, airplanes, bazookas, battle copters, that sorta thing.

Football's a game where a buncha people wear shoulder pads and fight over a ball that you can throw. It's real fun.

I have never heard of such a place. Perhaps it is farther than Akaneia, or even farther east of Talis. It most certainly is how I speak, however.

I see... What an array. Your abilities must be considered quite an asset to have while here. I am sure everyone appreciates your skills.

I see. What an odd form of sport. I suppose I cannot be against watching it, however. It will allow me to learn more about those here and the cultural differences.
