lost_angelwings has complained to me a few times about the awfulness of a morning cartoon called "Bakugan," on one occasion directing me to a clip of the show hosted on Youtube to demonstrate. From the evidence presented I can only concluded this show has no author. Rather, it appears to be generated by some machine similar to those from which entertainment was ( Read more... )

i think friends was an attempt at comedy by committee, along with repeating the same eight jokes over and over and some vague allusions to the wonderous powers of caffeine and no real explanation of how these folks work low-wage jobs in NYC (been there) and still manage to live in gloriously large apartments (been there) without their parents (...dammit).

the good news is that most of the people haven't been heard from since. sure, lisa kudrow was spared, but she was kinda funny anyways...and you have to be able to do something with a Vassar degree. the rest have all been fed to a certain Old One whose name should not be said aloud. sadly, footage of this is not available, but it would have been the first time the show was actually funny.

no. the last time someone offered me red pills and blue pills i was trying to get out of the Matrix for like ten freakin' years, and then i ended up in New Jersey. NEVER AGAIN.
