I have my Munchkin up in his highchair painting me a pretty picture. He actually uses paints, a paintbrush, and a cup of water now, he is growing up so dang fast. Of course as I was typing the previous sentence he dipped his paintbrush in water, promptly stuck the brush in his mouth and sucked the water off. Then he picked up his water cup and ( Read more... )

Thanks for sharing. Your words made me so happy I got tears in my eyes. It's wonderful to hear about how Rayn is growing, even if it seems faster than lightning. We love you three so much!!!

There are few people on earth who can make me feel so much love in a moment. When his dark brown eyes catch mine and light up with joy and excitement and love, it's like nothing else in this world matters. I love to scoop him up in my arms and have a heart-to-heart about his day and see his beautiful face next to mine. My favorite lately are kisses, which are on the lips, and hugs, which are mostly legs.

He, and you, and John, are some of the greatest gifts in my life. Thank you for sharing this magical journey with me, my darling girl.

Isn't being in front center of your child's life the most magical of experiences on the planet? From that vantage, you get to direct, be entertained and applaud all the wonders of this little person.

On "This is Killing me" - I never knew I said probably so as much as I do! I will ask Sean if he needs to go potty and he'll say - Probably so; are you hungry? Probably so. Are you sleepy? Probably so - everything is probably so! I got the same reply about the horses from Sean except he promptly began to look for his! And when I asked him what he was doing he said I'm doing what you said but can't find my horseys!

Children are the gifts given to us from our creator to tell us, put the breaks on and smell the roses - With children and learning it makes us grownups all stop and remember the things we take for granted or have forgotten. I had forgotten how much I love to read little short stories and how much I love to color!

I am so grateful to be given the gift of motherhood. Of all my gifts, it tops the list!
