I'm no angel but I did that too when I was using a drier. If you stack your clothes ironing not only becomes easier but sometimes you don't have to iron at all. Not that the Winchesters would iron their clothes...

It's so well written, I really can imagine Cas doing some research - this time not the "how to get rid of *whatever* 101" but how to use a Laundromat! It's very logical, I follow the reasoning for using 40 °C as washing temperature. Just imagine you have a fever and your underwear melts *LOL*
At the time you reach the doctor's office a wet trail of melted clothes would follow you - how embarrassing ;-)

Thank you for the fun I had reading this part of the story!

I only use my iron to apply glittery things to the clothes of my daughters, so the stacking is definitely working ;)

Glad you enjoyed it, it was fun writing and a welcome change to the dark and angsty depths SPN is currently exploring.

Of course, Cas would do through research. He's so studious that way.

Jep. That's what I thought ;)
I wonder if he gets his own laptop if he is in season 6, too (well, one can hope, right?)

I wish Castiel would wash my clothes, it's one of my least favorite chores :(

I can't believe a comment of mine helped spur this! How exciting :3!

Castiel decided to make a pile of Sam-clothes and Dean-clothes.

Lol I love that Castiel separated the clothes by Sam and Dean.

He decided to take the flask labeled 'Cheer'. Both Sam and Dean could use something to brighten up their mood from time to time. And 'Free and Gentle' sounded very desirable - even for clothes. Not gonna, I have the hardest time picking out a detergent for my clothes, depending on where I wash I have to go with either a liquid or a powder and then I have to choose between brands usually I go with the the safe option of the 2x liquid form. But anyways the idea of Castiel buying 'Cheer' cracks me up, he probably has no idea that he looked like he needed some when he went to go pay for it XD. I wonder if Dean and Sam are thankful for Cas's help. I bet they are when they sniff the clothes and they smell nice...or maybe Dean would think they're girly. Whatever Dean~ ( ... )

You know... this will somehow be the next part ;D
If you don't stop giving me ideas this will become an epic 20k+ words story about freaking laundry!! ;)

Lol I read the first story a long time ago and I thought it was really endearing so when I saw there was a third chapter, I was very delighted. Mostly because that meant there were 2 more additions I hadn't the pleasure of reading yet.

Needless to say, I'm still very amused. Cas doing mundane things makes me grin but Cas doing mundane things for the boys makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

Will there be a part 4? X3 I'd just love to see the Winchesters' reactions to Cas' laundry job lol.

So, I'm 16 and have never ever done my own washing. When it comes time to finally take that step....I think I'm so going to refer to this as to the directions xD We may have our own washer and dryer, but that doesn't mean I know how to use them!

I really liked this though. It is very Castiel-like to research this. And I don't blame him for giving up on all the detergent and stuff- I get confused in that aisle of the store.

Also: ...the clothes just would have to 'suck it up'" I love that he uses this phrase. While I could look at it as there is a sense of foreboding, he's becoming more human, yadda yadda yadda, this is a happy story so its extremely funny :) He obviously picked it up from Dean.

Also, does that mean that the clothes channel is Castiel's favorite channel at the Laundromat? Because yes, it can be very 'mesmerizing'.

Glad you enjoyed it. It was meant as a fluffy, care-free story in a time when there are so much angst-y ones around. I really tried my best to keep away all those angst ladden bits while keeping them all as best in-character as I could ;)
