You say 'pure' smut but all i see is a very tasteful, fantastically done without any typical traces of typical crudeness smut - the best one i've could imagine coming from you ;)

She loved her Lady Rahl with a passion so deep it threatened to create an ocean where there was once only a desert Excuse me while i swoon to the Underworld and back *sighs happily*

I love the fact that even if this a purely stand-alone one-shot you've still managed to sneakishly put elements from your other fic i.e. the mentions about Kahlan being Lady Rahl and Cara being her Consort -- hell, this ficlet could be as a kinda-sorta 'behind the scenes' or whattanot to the main fic ;) [which as you know, i have NO problem with it]

Teh smut -- as i've mentioned already, tasteful and lovely [like always] and seeing Kahlan being the one with control yet at the same time keeping up with the original characterization [same goes to Cara]? *claps* delightful work dear :)

If ye ever feel the urge to write another smutty ficlet then i have no objections ;)

Glad you enjoyed it - I was trying to meet the deadline for the PBXI and didn't quite make it, that's why it may not be as elaborate as my other pieces. In any case, I'm glad you see it for a behind the scenes for the Divide, because that's what it essentially is.

Tehehehe, just because i've pulled a dumb blonde last time and didn't figured out the Maze thing it doesn't mean i've lost my ability to spot the little sneaky things >:P

As i said it already, the ficlet have perfect length to be considered as a one-shot and imo have enough details so the readers can still read it without going all 'huh?' on you ;)

I do agree with deversum,
this isn't plot less, IMO.
A wonderful addition to your fic.
If it wasn't so cold around here (in my standards, not yours. It's not that cold) I would take a cold shower. As it is- I'm going to make some coffee, hoping that it will clear my head enough.
Speaking of your fic- I am wiggling my toes for another episode. Just so you know.

This was more than simply smut, it was a fantastically written HOT love scene, with real depth of character!! You are a very talented writer & I obviously need to read the Devide!!!
I read your 'The Foretelling' at passion & perfection, then realised that I read Ruby maze on LJ so looked you up as I wanted to read more of your work, I now have you bookmarked ;o)

I appreciate it when I can share my writing with those who enjoy it :).

I'm currently working on a Rizzoli & Isles, but Cara and Kahlan are eternally my favorites because I've been reading the books forever, and have been immersed in them. Their characters were so true to form, I can't help it.

Not to mention both actresses were hot beyond all imagination.
