plot bunnies?

Been itching to write Hockey RPF lately, but can't think of any intriguing ideas :( Anyone got advice for where to find plot bunnies, like comms or a website? I'm thinking historical AU of some sort, or something related to Edinburgh since I spent my last year there and it'd be damned good fun to write about haggis and beautiful stone alleyways and

During the lockout, some of the players from the US and Canada played with the European leagues... I think a couple of guys did play for the Edinburgh Capitals (I have to admit I wasn't paying attention as I follow the league below...) but you could create a semi-plausible reason for NHL players to be in the area! (Plausibility limited by whether they'd pick either of the Scottish teams, or any of the UK teams, over the Eastern European teams from both a skill and a salary perspective...)

Oooooh that is a great point! I actually caught an Edinburgh Capitals game while I was up there and so I know what the rink looks like and everything :O *gears turning*

Um, you should def write all of the prompts to her xmas exchange that don't get written. for sure. also, hockeyanonmeme has a ton of unanswered prompts from over the years.

There is a prompts list here over at homeice, which is from August, but hey, prompts!

Um, otherwise, twitter is a goldmine (follow 12-15 guys and just.... wait.) and any of the little vids the teams put out are also great for prompts!

Sweet, you are amazing!!!!!!! I actually went through all of the current xmas exchange ones though and didn't find anything I wanted to write...but seriously can't wait to trawl all the bunnies on home_ice and hockeanonmeme (haven't heard of either of those comms yet).
