The first day had been fun; she’d hung out with her new friends, done tourist type things, and hadn’t blown anything up. The second day was already losing its appeal; it seemed she’d forgotten how to practice the art of doing nothing and she was tempted to go and find something to blow up merely to make the place a bit more interesting.

Thank You! I'm glad you found Ace IC. I was thinking she'd have to carry this as I don't have much of an Eight voice, having only ever seen the movie and not listened to any Big Finish stuff

I also think the Doctor possibly left himself a memo, though personally I think Ace was memorable enough for him to manage to remember that unaided!

Glad you like. I love Ace, although she came late to the series (Seven was my 4th Doctor) she was by far and away my favourite companion, and Seven was *my* Doctor, the one who gave me my love of the series back after I'd stopped watching Colin Baker.

I think I'm going to like her. My favorite companions are Susan, Ian and Barbara. i have vague memories of watching DW on PBS with my parents. I'm fairly certain they were the Tom Baker years, though I also seem to remember episodes in B&W, so possibly the second doctor as well, as I would remember 3 and he certainly wasn't it. I'm slowly making my way through the episodes in order and am still in First Doctor land. I'm looking forward to 5. I have great plans for Turlough in my fanfare fic.
