And now I've got it doing that, be prepared for Ace to popping up all over the damned show. I've been itching to get Ace as head of Torchwood 4 in Liverpool into the Torchwood universe but because the existing fic didn't quite sit right the muses were unco-operative; I'm now hoping they'll change their minds as I want more Ace in Torchwood! Having said that, Jack is the only one who she'll allow to call her Ace. I wonder if she'll try to blow up the autopsy bay with Owen in it, or if she'll be nice and warn him first.

Ace was brilliant, and I think her and Jack would get on like a house on fire especially now she's older and wiser than she was in the TV series. I'm glad you enjoyed the story.

I've always loved Ace. I like the idea of older and wiser Ace too, and I'd love it if they brought her back for a special as long as they did as good a job with her re-appearance as they did with Sarah Jane. I live in hope and in the meantime I'm sure she's quite happy running Torchwood 4 in Liverpool.

Oh, this is neat! You've done a good job showing their weariness but also the sense of fun neither has totally lost. I would love for Ace to show up again, in either show (or any of the three!) and this seems a very plausible way to do it.

I'm trying to get my head to work around Ace and Jack meeting up in the future again (Ace has the time-bike after all) but for the next couple of years at least she's staying where she is, possibly coercing Ianto into helping her with sorting the place out.
