I didn't know about this bigbang myself until you posted it. I was seriously considering it for a while since the FAQ said they would take sequels (I'm in the middle of writing a series) but I've decided not to... my fear of the deadline!

Artist sign ups are here, rough drafts are due on 3rd June and artist claims are on 8th June, closing date is 21st July and Posting starts 1st August.
As I don't think I'll be doing much during Summer because of finances (can't really afford the Who con I want to go to with Serenity Forever, Vampire Ball and Whitby fairly close together from September) I think the schedule is do-able and it's not as if I don't have some ideas of how to get where the fic is going.
