Books and tv show are almost synonymous in my head, though I only have up to 'So Long and Thanks for All the Fish' anyway so there won't be anything later than that. I haven't quite decided if Arthur should appear or not, I suppose we'll all find out soon. I also remembered that Trillian was dark and not blonde in the books so my Trillian isn't necessarily the film version after all...
