I have a twin room booked at the convention hotel but sadly the person with whom I was going to share has been unable to get a ticket and DW con is now sold out. Is there anyone on my flist going to DW con who needs a roomie and doesn't *have* a room yet? Are there any friends of friends in the same boat? I'd rather share with someone who I either

You could try the community hashafp, its not the most active of things but has a load of pratchett fans on...

I don't want to end up with someone I don't already know, hence the friends of friends request on here so I'm a bit unsure about flagging it up anywhere else.

I can fully recommend Aeron as being the best sort of room mate. Doesn't mind if you get up early and shower, more than willing to share alcohol, food and clothing, but honest enough to tell you if you look like a tit!

If I didn't have to start my new job the day after DW-Con, I'd be tempted to swap my room with someone and bunk in with you!

You were a very undemanding roomie, plus I got a free top out of the roomshare which can't be bad! :) Thanks for the rec - proves I'm not an axe murderer at least.
