Darius muse said I wasn't allowed to have mead or meddeglyn in this fic unless it was some he'd made. I listen to my muses - most of the time - even when they make me sniffle.

I have no Darius icons. Darn.

As for the foreshadowing it wasn't intentional but Methos muse can't ever quite forget - no matter how hard he tries to - that Ianto is mortal and in a dangerous job and demanded that I acknowledge that.

Bloody demanding muses.

Oh and a quick question - think I could get away with posting this to torchwood fic and the crossover comms even though it's primarily a Highlander fic?

Don't see why not, you mention characters from another fandom so surely that qualifies as a crossover. And there are probably people on the TW ones who've read the other stories but aren't on HL comms

Methos and Siannon deserved some happy - it had to be her for a mead prompt - and with all the snow and ice we've been having I wanted to write something warm! Sometimes it's nice to be blind to canon, even ones own; Methos muse agrees.
