I'm reaching an impasse with work, school, and such, and I need to make a decision soon. Unfortunately, it's not an easy decision. Get your butt back in school and make that your top priority.

I think you're starting to see life has a way of consuming you. The longer you are away from school, the more difficult it is to go back. I also think you're starting to see how tough it is to support yourself without a degree. When you're young, you can work harder/more hours to keep your head above water, but that becomes a snowball from which escape becomes increasingly difficult. Suddenly you wake up one day with twenty years behind you.

I always intended to go back. In the meantime, I thought I could work sixteen or eighteen hours a day to compensate. I could do that when I was younger, but it left no time for school of any sort. I can't put in those kind of hours anymore but I haven't a degree to escape.

If you're going to plot and scheme, please work toward finding a way to get your education first. You'll have a lifetime to make money after.
