It somehow seems fitting that I write about Jim after writing about Mikel, even though Jim didn't ask for me to do it, either. The two of them have a lot in common, and I find it interesting to see just how well they seem to know each other even though they've never met face to face and have only known each other a short time

Yeah, there's something about having a friend who's not only there to hug you when you need sympathy, but will bust kneecaps with a lead pipe when the time comes for that too.

That, and anyone who rides on a bus for 10+ hours to hang out for a weekend deserves some respect. ;)

What more could a person ask for in a friend, right? Besides actually meeting him face to face. That would be good.

And yes, everything that's evident about Jim online is 10 times as evident in person. If you think his writing is solid, he's probably the most articulate person I know. He also has high scores in Charisma and Empathy, and possibly the Enchanting Voice merit. ;)
