Yes, there are. The gay marriage one you've written about is one of the big buttons for me, too. This world seriously needs less prejudice. I sincerely would love it become so rare/non-existent a concept that I'd have to explain it to Madison when she's an adult. That's one issue that should never have to be faced again. It's up to people like us to make it a non-issue. With our passion on the subject, I'd like to think we can make huge strides.

I have faith, though.
And I didn't get into stuff like the Patriot Act, immigration issues, foreign affairs, copyright, etc. that while they have some things to do with Bush, are often messed up by both major parties.

Both sides have their strengths and their weaknesses. I happen to believe in some things from each of them. I guess it's just a matter of prioritizing at any given time. This time it just happened that neither side satisfied me at all. Let us hope for more sanity in four years.
