Visting the Dojo

[takes place out of time line. Locked for kirill_72Sestra made her way to the Dojo only after getting directions from Kirill. She had called him to let him know she was coming so he could expect her. "Privet, Sestra." He smiles slightly, taking in her physique, but doing so in an entirely professional manner. Kirill finds her attractive, of course, but when he's at work, such considerations get sidelined.

"Why?"

Sestra dropped down. "What do you want to do?"

[kirill_72]

Kirill sits down in front of her. "Make you think. You have instinct. Speed. Power. Much ability. But when you train. You need to think. Then bind thinking to instinct."

Legs crossed and she rocked a bit while looking at him. "But doesn't thinking slow you down?" She frowned a bit. "Height has some to do with advantages. But being smaller you can pass under that reach."

"Yes. When you fight. That is why you think as part of training. To fight is not just body, is mind too. So when train, train mind and body. Then actual fight mind and body work together. Mind does not slow body down."

Kirill puts his hand on Sestra's shoulder. "Yes, when smaller get inside their reach. Smaller can mean faster too. Not always, though for you perhaps. Now. Question. Why you want to fight? To protect or to kill?"

Sestra listened closely, nodding at his words. Mind and body should be one. When they are together, the body works with the mind in harmony.

She however frowned to his words and looked down, "To fight to protect myself and those I care about. And if need be to kill. I am to... suppose to take up where SHE left off. Aeon. It is part of my programming. I yearn to learn that part. To fight and to hunt."

Kirill nods. "To kill is more easy than to protect. But it bring attention. To hunt is different. You go out, can hide kills. Or leave them behind."

He withdraws his hand, then asks, "what YOU want to learn. Where start?"

Sestra reached out to take his hand in hers, turning it over to look at his palm. She smoothed her fingers over it, to his wrist then back down again. "Want to learn to hunt." She then looked up at him, "But I should learn some basics first. I'm a fast study. I should learn to use my body as a weapon. Sorry," She pulled her hand away, "I'm all over the place. Perhaps just learning to get under your reach will be a good starting point."

Kirill takes her hand back into his own. Stroking the back of her hand with his thumb, he says, "Do not apologize. Today is first day. We talk. Figure stuff out. Make plan. No matter how good. And you are good right now. It takes time to learn."

With a small smile, he continues, "Getting under reach is good start. We do that next time. Today, we start with pressure points. Where to hit and why."

She looked down at Kirill's hand then softly looked up at him. She smiled softly nodding to him, "Next time is good." She pulled his hand to her but at the same time, she leaned in to him.

She kissed his cheek softly, "I learn quickly, you will see." She then suddenly threw herself into him rolling them till she was on top, hand his hands pinned and she was looking down at him.

Kirill accepts the roll and lets Sestra pin him to the floor. Laughter flickers through his eyes.

"I am sure you learn quick. But one can always learn more."

Sestra nodded, "I know I will always be learning new things." She pushed up from him, kept bending till she was in a back bend. It was then she pushed up then flipped her body over in a graceful walk. She flipped her hair back, a pretty smile playing upon her lips.

Kirill admires Sestra's flexibility. Impressive. Laughter dances in his eyes, and he nods his admiration.

After standing, Kirill walks over to a practice dummy. Unzipping the outside canvas cover, he takes it off, revealing another canvas cover - but this one has marks in different colors indicating pressure points for hand-to-hand and another set for where to stab with knives.

Kirill gestures Sestra over.

Sestra tipped her head as Kirill walked over to the dummy. She padded over a bit but stopped as the over came off. She then moved a little closer. She leaned in reading the markings. A hand reaching out to touch each point.

Her fascination was one of learning as she walked around it. "Is this what you use to practice with?" She touched another point then repeated it upon herself.

"Sometimes. Yes."

Kirill watches her for a moment, then says, "stand close, inside 'reach', and hit. I watch."
