Yeah, I love Dean-Cas moments, especially in canon. It was pretty obvious in Season 4 "Great Pumpkin" that Dean and Cas kept having their moments in front of Sam and Uriel (shivers).

This made me laugh so hard my drink came out of my nose.

This is lovely, and touching, and hysterically funny. I love Dean's inner monologue during the Sam-and-Cas conversation, how he's mostly tuning them out and adding his own very special brand of snark at the same time.

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the Dean voiceover of the Sam-Cas scene. This scene just popped in my head while writing and is responsible for the chapter going a bit long. I was amused, but I didn't know if it would amuse anyone else, so thanks for the positive input!
