Okay, so I'm going to come out of lurk mode and tell you that I've been loving this entire fic so far. I'm blown away by your ability to write both canon characters and badfic!characters so perfectly. Wonderful, crazy fun.

Also, I really want to hug both your Chases.

Yay, LJ is back to working again, so -I- can come out of lurk mode and tell you how much I appreciate your comment. You're very flattering, and I'm ecstatic that you're having fun. (Humor is a new genre for me, so I'm really grateful when people tell me that Postcards gave them a laugh.)

And yes, serious!Chase and fanfic!Chase are both very huggable; that's why I love writing them.

That was so disconcerting having LJ down!

The thing I love most about your brand of humor is that you deliver it without losing the quality of your narrative. I think the hardest thing to do is to write a straight fic and have it be funny. And you pull it off brilliantly.

Also, there is not nearly enough good fic about Chase, so thank you for this one. (It gets tiring having to read my own for lack of anything else.)

Wow, my head is spinning from the compliments (and perhaps inflating a bit too--No, down, damn-ed ego! :P)

Honestly, my cardinal rule about writing humor is that all characters must take themselves seriously, or else the attempted humor flops the moment the author (and the subtext) lapses into adolescent-style wink-wink-nudge-nudge. The story must come first (and there will be a fair smattering of serious drama in parts of this fic as well as cracked-out situational comedy.)

Speaking of your own fics, I've been meaning to get back to your Outbreak story, and now that I have a brief breather after this update, I hope to get back there soon. That is, if FF.net cooperates and doesn't keep showing fics only from July 10 (weird how it's doing that, huh?)

I saw it, glanced through it to see which Chase it was (both!)and told everyone at TWOP that it was up. Then I did some work but, luckily, I didn't close the browser so I had something great to read on my next break while LJ was down.

While fic!Chase in canon!PPTH is funnier, I feel for canon!Chase. He's going to flip when fic!House starts calling him a wombat (and meaning it affectionately.)

Thanks so much for the TWoP recc (I'm going to thank you properly there, too, but I didn't want to derail the 'crabbing about lj being down' thread ^^), and thanks for coming back over here to comment after so many hours.

Yeah, although fic!Chase is funnier (he's soooo emo!), canon!Chase is going to end up in some pretty outrageous situations. So far, he's only been with House, but as the rest of the cast filters in, I hope to make it into a real circus.

Hah, I was -hoping- that someone would catch the Dorian Gray reference! And as for House's blue eyes, I'm proud to say that I've read every one of those adjectives in one fic or another (although I believe no one else has ever gone so far as to put them all together. ^^)

i`ve been following your fic for a bit, and i read all the other chapters but haven`t commented.

i just have to say,

OMFG WOW. i love it, like to pieces and pieces. fanfic!chase makes me giggle, and i feel kind of sorry for poor serious!chase. i wanna hug them both too.

Loved the whole Wilson-House, wall isn`t soundproof thing. hehe.

I appreciate you taking the time to comment on this chapter; I know that it's tough to find time or the right words sometimes (my own abiding fault when I neglect to comment on fics) but it's thoughtful of you to encourage me all the same. And it makes me happy to know that I made you laugh!

I'm glad that you caught the "non-soundproof door" thing as well; it's fun to picture Chase overhearing all the (lecherous) things House and Wilson were saying about him.

Yay! Loved it! LOL The House/Wilson interaction is hilarious and very awesome! Glad to see fic! Chase does has some influence over people ;)

Fic!House is just as hilarious and cool and I like that! Loved the bit about House's lost daughters and sisters :D And the car! This is a bit I think also good Chase writers tend to do-Chase almost always drives a crappy car... Poor Chase!

More please ^_^

Hah, so you got the part with the car as well! (I think I confused a few folks who are less familiar with the Chase-crappy-car syndrome.)

As for House--yes, daughter and sister and NIECE! Can't forget the ever-popular niece of a guy who supposedly has no siblings. :P Glad you think that fic!House is cool, though--but then again, the man is always cool, even in fanfiction. And yeah, fic!Chase ought to be a least a little seductive, considering his record for scoring with his colleagues, dontcha think? ^^

I'm not sure I commented on this before, which would be crazy of me since I've been howling over this fic the last several chapters. This one is just brilliant, and my favorite so far. The House/Wilson stuff was fantastic, both Chases freaking out is laugh out loud funny, and I have no idea where you are going with this, which is fantastic! I love a crazy, humorous situation that I can't guess on what's happening next. You do humor very well.

Wow, thanks for the really flattering comment! I'm glad that you dropped by. I've seen your name in the past, so perhaps you have commented before? Maybe on one of my other fics. Regardless, I'm grateful for your input whenever and wherever.

I'm happy that you're enjoying Postcards. It does have a plot ending, but I like to keep everyone guessing until then. See you in the next chapters for more House/Wilson (except it'll be fanfic!House and fanfic!Wilson. ^ ~)
