I just read the results for the Grammy Awards and it makes me sick... Album of the Year? U2??? God, just retire. You won awards last year too, shit, let's have some variety. Best Metal Performance... Haha yeah, Nick and I definitely disagreed with some of the results-- we thought that U2 for sure won too many awards, especially for an album that is decent but not spectacular. And Green Day? UGH.

The actual awards show was SO MUCH FUN though. Seriously, wow. We had the best time. We were right up against the stage in the mosh pit and it was fantastic.

I think the Grammy's stopped being relevant a while ago, anyway. I think Audioslave was nominated for a few because Chris Cornell and Tom Morello were in attendance at least. They probably lost to U2 like everybody else. I agree with the above sentiments that the new U2 album was good but not great. But then again, I doubt they're ever going to release an album like 'War' again. I was also disappointed that the White Stripes new album won an award. I didn't get what all the hype was about.
