the sense of ease knowing I was able to get sick pay has been dispersed most rapidly. Apparently statutory sick pay is nothing for the first three days then £13 per day afterwards. £13! What the fuck is up with that. That barely more than an hours work! i'm not allowed to cover the thre eunpaid days with owed holiday pay either. I don't understand

What an insult. I hate employment. I've just got a new job and was led to believe it was going to be so much fun. Nope. It actually SUCKS!

the problem is not employment per se, but the fact that Mike is temping... employers get the best of all worlds by employing temps - especially if you're working there on a long term basis...
