my grandmother is awesome and gave me her old polaroid sx-70 sonar one step camera, and the same day i found an old one step land camera at goodwill for $1.59. both in perfect working order. now i am back to being obsessed with all things polaroid, and salivating over ebay auctions & seeking out thrift stores in every town i happen to find myself

Can you still get film for the SX-70? I thought not. I've got one, too, but it has become more of a knick-knack than anything else.

yes you can! though apparently it's not always so easy to find. i have found it at walgreens and one walmart (not all), and i know you can order it online. i have heard most people say they have found it most often at various drugstores.

Shit. I was wrong. I don't have an SX-70. I have an older Polaroid land camera that takes roll film, which has definitely been discontinued. I think what I may do is dismantle that thing, and use the lens to build a crude 4x5 camera.
