Studies and surveys suggest that a waist-hip ratio of 0.7 is ideal for women, both for health and attractiveness to males. I don’t know what the fashion designers are smoking.

Two inches off each thigh? Sounds like you've toned up a good bit (as the nearly 1% reduction in body fat also suggests). And that's just in one month? I know the -2 lbs part is discouraging, but the other indications look like progress to me.

It's just frustrating 'cause I don't -see- any difference, y'know? I've still got this gut hanging out that makes me look like I'm pregnant and noticeably showing. Even the Lane Bryant jeans don't fit well, although strangely the second pair I bought - the exact same style and size as the first just a different color - are very loose in the waist.

I did manage to squeeze into the gown, with the proper compressive undergarments it won't look too hideous. 'Course, everyone's attention will be on the bride anyhoo.
