That's such sad news. I have to admit that he was my favourite Monkee - their show used to be repeated on tv during school holidays when I was a kid and I LOVED IT!!

I was torn picking my favourite song - I think technically it's Last Train to Clarksville, but I had to go for Daydream Believer (or Cheer up sleepy Jean as my friend insist on calling it) just because it has so many memories attached to it.

I wish people would stop dying :(

I had such a huge crush on him starting at like, age four, when I had no idea what a "rerun" was. I thought for certain the Monkees would be coming to my town soon... I remember when MTV would have the Monkee marathons and I would stay up 24 hours to watch every episode played. I own all of their albums. I saw them during their reunion tour and Davy's limo almost ran me over. He rolled down the window and waved.

I am seriously depressed now. :(

Aww, I know the feeling! I had such a crush on Davy Jones when I was a little girl! Loved watching 'The Monkees'. It's such a sad thing to happen. And to someone still young.

I know! *sadface* Now I want to rewatch all those MTV marathons I recorded when I was a kid, but they've sadly been lost to time. :( :( :(
