Glee - "Prom Queen"

You guys. I have so many feelings when it comes to this ep. And the longer I sit on it the more they hit me. I need to write fic and I need to rewatch every single moment of Blaine and Kurt and. This show. This pairing. It's killing me in the best way possible.

...Wow. THIS. You summed it up perfectly. At Breadstix, in the hallway, them dancing, all of it. You took all of my thoughts (even the ones I didn't realize I had) and laid them out on the floor.

I for one was especially confused about the dance; I was thinking "Why aren't they holding each other as close as I thought they would? Why are they technically not slow dancing (at least not like the other couples)? Why isn't Kurt looking at him? Why did Blaine break eye contact when Kurt finally DID look at him?", but you made it all make sense to me.

I especially love what you wrote about Kurt's character and Darren's acting, because it's so true. (Blaine's look of love?!? SO TRUE. Boy's obviously in love. Darren nailed it. OMG. I literally made a high pitched "Aww!" at my TV screen.)

I tend to write many a lengthy analysis on writings I enjoy such as this one, but there really are no words. You've said them all already. Just... THIS. :D

Also, you need to write post-prom fic. NOW. I demand it. ^_^

NO. i bow to you! also~ never apologize for the word count in this post, i could have read 40,000 and agreed with everything including your punctuation! with that said, tho, let me apologize for the length of this, but bear with me...

just a thought~ this whole 'crazy for you' line... can't help but 'date' myself with this mention... adele's version aside, i'll go with the, ahem, 'original song' by none other than Madonna. with all the blaine/prettyinpink/john hughes stuff swirling. (read: 80s) i've got the 'crazy for you' lyrics in my head. seems to play out quite perfectly in prom queen.

This entire post is brilliant. I agree with everything. I can't believe that a pairing as beautiful and heartfelt as them is on Glee of all shows.

Also can I just say how happy I am that the show doesn't bother to hide their height difference anymore? I mean, look at them dancing! It's adorable!
