What sort of currants do you have? Are they healthy enough to barter a dozen eggs for a cutting? :-)

Red and black, and gooseberries :). We love them.

I actually have a few small plants, I think they are red or black currants. If you want one, I'd be happy to trade. Bring it to the meeting tonight?

More cute, little goats? Cool! More goat cheese? Kinda cool, too...

I wish I could send you some of my goat cheese. It's really good, if I do say so myself. Not got that 'goat' smell/flavor. We work hard to keep it so!

Genevieve is precious!!! And Susie should be delivering any time now, right? We need to go to Costco today but we'll have our cell phones and won't be there long. Please call if you'd like some midwivery help.

That's funny about the asparagus. Hardy plants, it seems.

One of these days, I'd love to watch how you make cheese.

She's adorable! And some job for Mack, she really is big. I'm so glad everything turned out OK.

Hope to be over next weekend!

Woo Hoo! I have been missing you. If you can come over, that's great. If not, perhaps I can make it over there. There will be a lull in planting shortly. But never a lull in weeding, unfortunately.

We are going to have the vet come this week to look at the other 'pregnant' doe. I think she either reabsorbed or aborted, because she sure isn't seeing pregnant now. We'll see what the vet says. If it turns out that she's not pregnant, I'll be disappointed, but kind of relieved. It doesn't seem to be a good kidding year. Friends have had troubles too...

In any case, bring your daughter if she wants to come. She can have fun with the baby. We want her to get all the taming she can because I might make her an SCA goat :).
