I know I haven't posted much in 2014. I've been reading a lot more than I've been writing, if that's any help! To try to get back into LJ, I'm reusing this meme from astrogirl2. I am, however, apparently incapable of giving a single answer to most of the questions. ( Below a cut for length )

You're still into Elementary? Good! Hee - I still don't have a TV, so there are a lot of shows I haven't seen but I read a bit about. Will ask you in an email about what disappointed you with Sherlock (again, I've only watched the first 2 eps of the 1st season then wasn't interested in watching more, but a friend did tell me some of the plotlines since, which left me scratching my head).

Hope the Avengers 2 movie provides us both with a lot of fannish joy.

LOL and yay about Bucky being welcomed into the folds of your Unsuitable Boyfriends! I did see a post once where someone gave some very interesting points about Bucky in the first movie, that made me like and appreciate him even more than I had when I watched it.

I look forward to rewatching GotG when I get the DVD. It was great to see a Han Solo-ish character get such an emotional arc or depth.

I am at this point interested in rewatching Captain America: The First Avenger to look for things that were picked up in the second movie, and especially for the characterization of Bucky. I just didn't pay enough attention the first time; who knew I would care later?!

I should probably do a post on Sherlock; I've been meaning to since, oh, February or so. Then I can give you details and anyone else who cares. (But I will email you anyway-it has been a while!)

Elementary is still making me happy. I niggle at particular episodes and plot points, of course, but overall, I think they're doing a great job with Joan and that Sherlock guy. I seem now to be really into Watsons! I mean to do a post on that too. (I mean to do a lot more posts than I actually write, somehow.)

Captain America is indeed the shocking fandom of the year for me as well. Who could have ever predicted??

There are at least a handful of us who have had this sudden conversion experience, which I find interesting. I wonder how many others? I also wonder: do more exciting fandoms wait in our futures?!
