My Mom met Nicholas - said he was a really lovely man. Damn...I'm going to miss him - he was a wonderful actor - and a steady influence in Who.

Yes, she met him around...I'm tempted to say 81 or 82 - and met Mr Moffat (Peter Davidson) at a bar near the convention they were at, and she said they sat around and talked about everything and nothing for hours! Said they were truly lovely men and she had a crush on the Fifth Doctor (and the Brig, really - handsome man!) and so she said once she got over her nervousness they had a marvelous time!

I loved the Brig. Way back in the Pertwee era, he was my favourite character, and Nicholas Courtney always played him t perfection, even when struggling with his own personal problems.

I'll miss him.
