This is such a powerful ep, with the tension of the chase and the intensity of all the emotions. I feel drained after having read it!
I know I've said this before, but I like the way you write Connor. In this ep the way he sounds and the way he acts really gel for me -- and usually he's not a character who interests me a great deal.
Stephen's shoulder suddenly felt cold where Cutter's hand had been.
That says a lot about the way things are in just a few words. I'm glad Cutter apologised to Stephen. Stephen's bound to feel guilty, but he did everything he possibly could, and hurt himself doing it, he's definitely not to blame. Like Connor said, sometimes it's just plain bad luck.

Great chapter, but still so sad. The poor woman and her dog! And Stephen sooo tired.

Powerful episode, and I loved the way Connor dealt with Stephen at the end. He came over very well there.
