Some great Lester moments in this, and he's right, the boys really ought to kiss and make up. Everyone's clearly expecting it. *g*

And what's Jensen up to? No good, I expect.

Gotta say, I like Lester treading the line between changing his bad habits and retaining his obnoxious sarcasm when it comes to managing his people. Totally works for me.

And yeah, Somewhere along the line Noel's going to have to realize that his fantastic memory isn't infallible. Nick HAS asked him to stop calling him "sir". It's just one instance of how perception and ingrained habit can sabotage recall in even someone who thinks he's detached. One of these days I expect it will bite Noel in the ass.

Poor Lester never had to keep working with people before! It's much more fun to come in, ax people, and leave!

I think Noel is not quite as confident in his memory as Lester is here, but yes, he thinks he's more objective than he is. I can remember being like that myself, so I can't be too hard on Noel.

I love the scene between Nick and Lester -- so totally them, with some cracking lines! And Nick and Stephen should definitely kiss and make up *vbg*.

Nick's a past master at opening mouth and inserting foot *g*. And poor Noel must reckon he's in a madhouse!

Thanks! I'm glad those lines worked! I had to write bits of scene to fit in some of the lines, because I got all the snark and sarcasm before I had a full sense of the whole scene and where it fit into the story!

Noel is in a madhouse. He realizes it. What he doesn't realize yet is that he belongs too. :-)

I love so many things! Noel's eyebrows,the talk between Stephen and Nick, Stephen wanting to shove his hands into his pockets, Lester being Lester, the "make-up sex" remark.

Thanks! I was a little afraid the Nick-and-Lester scene was over the top, but it's hard to be over the top with the two of them.

Well, I already quoted that line of Lester's about not changing his managing style to someone, so I loved that!

Just... general love all around. Not coherent. Great chapter. Wish this was a novel I could curl up with and read in one sitting.
