Hee! I've known the old Round Tuit joke for a long time, but I'd never seen that particular variation. It cracked me up.

And maybe or_maginogi and I are the same person and we you just don't know it. Nods knowingly. :-)

(BTW, I was *this* close to picking Kermit, but then I saw Beaker and BEAKERLOVE!)

Do you read Mabi's LJ frequently? (Ever? I see he's not on your friends list!) Nothing you say can convince me that you and Mabi are the same person! (Met Mabi on the SciFi bulletin board, actually, so I think I've known him longer than I've known you!)

There's not much to say about Kermit anyway. Kermit just makes me happy.

Yes, but I only got the Google mail account in 2005! I looked it up; I'm rather surprised! I started watching SG-1 in 2002, and I think I was on the board by 2003--2004 at the latest. I think I met or_mabinogi, nialla42, and lunachickk there before I even really got into Stargate fic.

Technically you don't animate the icon, you make the icon from an animated GIF. GIF is one of the formats that LJ supports for icons, and GIF supports very basic animation, so, when you import the GIF, you get the animation along with it. You do have to make sure the size of the GIF is below LJ's max (40k, I think ( ... )
