Ah, the label comes so quickly to these emerging sub-sub-subgenres. ;) I really dig this stuff. As I mentioned on AIM, I've heard some of the Digital Mystikz stuff before.

Some of it reminds me of the older atmospheric drum n bass (I'm thinking of old LTJ Bukem tracks, as an example). I would like to see some of the "Baltimore Sound" DJs like Diplo, Low Budget, Spank Rock, and others incorporate some of this into their mixes. I think it would be great with some a capella vocals layered over it.

Yeah, really, I had no idea it was called dubstep till reading the editorial.. I was thinking bass since that's how it came out on soulseek under genre for the tracks I got.. heh. I do think this sounds a bit different than just d'n'b though since I've heard that stuff before, so this genre name goes well ;D

Hm.. I'll have to listen to this Spank Rock sometime.. since you keep bringing them up ;)
