Did you know that you can roast mini marshmallows above a candle flame? No seriously, the flame's just the right size; and since the hottest part of any flame is directly above it, if you just rotate the marshmallow on a toothpick right above the flame, it gets all golden brown (or burnt black, depending on your taste) quickly. I tried Raku once and came up with a pretty spiffin' lumpy burnt marshmallow... *is still pretending it was on purpose*

It's snowing pretty hard here, so I like to imagine it is by you, too, and you and your family are hunkered down around the glow of candle flames, roasting mini marshmallows and waiting out the storm.

At least, these are the sorts of childhood memories I hope to give my children.

OMG I will totally do that with any children now!!!! (And their parents will bring lawsuits against me later when the house gets burned down, but that's another story) I was the only one with the gumption to actually roast the 'mallows, although I gave one to my little brother and mom. And yes, it is snowing like hell has finally packed it in over here.
