It's so wonderful to see Rosemary fic. It's so hard to get into her mind, isn't it? I keep trying and falling short. This is inspiring me to get working on it again, though!
Rosemary really thinks she's the good guy, which is why it's hard to get into her head, I think, but you did a good job of it here. Her loneliness, worthlessness and no level of human respect are all shown clearly and her ways of dealing with it are all very in-character. You really showed the attic as becoming her escape and aksjbgksjg squeee seriously Rosemary fic. :D :D :D She's my favorite character.

Yep. I try to never underestimate the effort it takes to find something even similar to canon Rosemary's mindframe. XP
I'm really glad you liked it-and if you write another Rosemary fic, I'll be all over it!!

I really love Rosemary (my fav female character lol), so I actually read a lot of Rosemary fics online and I noticed that she's quite difficult to handle...not many people managed to write canon fics.
But I love this!
I always wondered how she was doing before she kinda, you know, quit the place to become the fake Nadja. I could easily imagine this happening. It is a little short, but that's what makes it simple and canon, I'd rather read a short, simple, impressive fic than read one that goes on and on, especially for ones that are Rosemary centric because she isn't the main character after all and she doesn't actually have a plot type of thing. (even though I believe SHE made AnN interesting :P)
I hope you write more of AnN fanfics, I really do like them. And I read When Masks Fall Off so I'll comment on that also...
I also wanted to know why you don't post these on ff.net?

Hm... I disagree there. Rosemary may not have been THE main character, but she was still essential to the plot, and the second half of the series would have been quite dull without her. And for a mere villainous plot device, she certainly undergoes a lot of character development. Like suzanami pointed out, she believes that what she's doing is right, and that's what makes her such a force to reckon with.
I think I could write a long, multi-chaptered Rosemary fic... I just haven't. Because getting into Rosemary's head is difficult. *is sheepish ( ... )
