Though I am certain it was done with the most noble intent, the hawks should never have been loosed. We cannot have our pigeon population so horribly over-hunted as they are now.

Coen and Antonia will require aid in re-capturing the birds. We would be most grateful to any who can return a bird to them.

... Depending on how upset the birds would be by noise, I could possibly aid in recapturching them. Their natural defenses aren't of concern to me, either.

[Considering he's big enough to just enclose them in his hands.... though if they fly away from engine noise, not much he can do.]

They should be accustomed to most life-forms save canines. Though should you have difficulty, you will find luring them to be far easier should you use raw meat.

Even... something non-organic capable of flying, like currently ten foot tall alien robots?

[A pause, and he has to consider that. Raw meat?]

Bait, since that is part of their usual diet, I assume?

[He's... not sure he wants to touch raw meat.]

You are not familiar with falconry.

[It's not a question.]

The hawks are trained to return to their master's arm when offered a lure of raw meat. Had they not fed so well on pigeon and were they returning to one familiar, then the task would be somewhat easier. But it is not impossible otherwise. They have been well taught. Your appearance should not matter.

You need only cover the bird's head once it has landed and it will remain calm whilst you return it to it's roost.

[...Now this? This was fascinating. He's already learned that cozying up to the staff gets you things - even if you have to do something in return, but he certainly hadn't expected something from the stone cold ice queen of the Keep itself.]

My lady.

[Politeness, he decided, was best. He was already completely certain asking for individuals - Minion - was not going to happen, the others hadn't bothered to lock their responses and he therefore stalked observed them all.

So, with that...]

How likely is it that you are able to retrieve objects of a more...personal nature?

Say as...a random, nonspecific example...something akin to a robotic beast?

[Brainbot?]

I might provide generic items of a certain sentimental value, had you a particular attachment to ornately decorated ceramic vases for example.

However, unique personal items are beyond me.

Tell me, were your robotic beasts so commonplace?

Ah. No. They are something of my own creation. There is nothing like them in existence elsewhere.

[Sigh.]

Since that is not an option, might I request some more…advanced technology that I might be able to work with? I’m an inventor - and here, where it is quite clearly a different era, I find myself lacking in material more than I would like.

No problem |D aegisofsilk December 18 2011, 23:46:00 UTC
You may ask for whatever please you.

[Though that is no guarantee that she will get it.]

Whether you keep the item is no concern of mine.

Oh! Well...it's sort of a gift for them...but...

But...

My mother used to bring me these...paints. That were made from shells - they were w whole three day trip from our tower. Do you think...maybe I could get some?

[She wants to paint Flynn a picture!]

[So sweet, but so naive.]

It would be a pleasure. You may have them as soon as tomorrow.
