Sheeda took one last glance in the mirror before heading out of the dorm she shared. She decided to go for a quarter sleeved blouse and a nice skirt, both a light blue in colour, with her hair in a simple up-do. She didn't have much time between coming from her morning class and her meeting with Marth, so she decided to not dress up too fancy.

After nearly bumping into three people on her way out of the dormitory building, she peered around before spotting her friend. It wasn't like she would have a problem spotting him anyway since his hair distinguished him from everyone else, but it was quite sunny... She shielded her eyes from the bright rays with her hand and approached him.

"Hello, Marth." She figured she would announce herself before getting too close; if Marth was the same old Altean prince she had known for a long time now, she knew he startled easier than most.

Marth turned, grinning broadly, his large blue eyes shining brightly. It had been so long since he'd seen her he had almost forgotten how much he enjoyed her company. It came back immediately, of course, as she had approached him.

"Lady Sheeda," he greeted her warmly. "It's been far too long."

Sheeda couldn't help but return the grin - it was practically contagious.
"Mmm, it really has been." She looked around at their surroundings and saw that it was just the two of them, which was nice since they could be away from the hustle and bustle of college for a little while.

"How have you fared?"

How has he been. That was an incredibly complicated question for such a long period of time. So much had happened in the last few months, it was incredibly difficult to sum it all up. The fog, the odd personality changes, the people getting trapped in televisions. It was crazy. But as Marth often was, he chose not to dwell on the bad and focus on the good instead.

"In general, quite well," he replied with a smile. "How have you fared?"

Have a Toph at a bookstore! layerofdirt September 18 2009, 23:10:49 UTC
The bookstore was not one of Toph's usual destinations. What was the point of having a book if you couldn't read them in the first place?

She did have a reason for going though. People had mentioned this braille thing, and it was supposed to help blind people read. The earthbender figured she should check this stuff out since school was starting up, though the idea of being able to read didn't excite her like it might have for any other blind person.

She roamed the shelves, running her hand across the spine of the books, trying to feel for the small bumps that should be printed on them.

(OoC: Is Link and Marth supposed to have tea together? I can't remember.)

Marth hadn't really expected anyone to be behind him when he was pulling one of the books off the shelves to use for speech class. He turned sharply and found himself bumping into someone he'd never met before. "Oh, pardon me. Are you alright?"

[ they weren't set for it but he's more than welcome to bump into him. there's also a few-day old lonely rabi log, too. ]

I'll throw her in Rabi's log too >:3 layerofdirt September 18 2009, 23:37:37 UTC
"Watch it!" Toph realized that she wasn't the only blind person in the world, and that most people couldn't use earthbending to see, but come on! Was she invisible or something?

"You're not the only one to bump into me you know. And by the way you're moving, I bet you have perfectly working eyes, so how about you use them!" Classes had put Toph in a bad mood, as she couldn't really do much but listen to the professor. There was homework assigned, but as she couldn't read, sh had no way of doing it. School sucked.

Marth blinked. He hadn't expected such a forceful reaction. "It was an accident. I wasn't looking where I was heading. My deepest apologies." He offered a slight bow, unaware that she wasn't able to see it.
