He had to think about it for a moment. He really only knew of one, but assumed that there was more than that. "Three...maybe four.." That was more than they had ever dealt with at one time.

"Hell, I don't even know how long they've been in here. They could...shit, they could be dead already!" because, they all knew what happened if you stayed in too long. This could all be a repeat of what happened with Nanako, but with an ending that was much worse...

Souji adjusted his glasses while talking to Kanji, knowing that they really need to now look for the victims. Souji himself had seen two familiar faces in the TV and now they needed to find out where they are and get them out of here. Souji also knew that their shadow selves have probably been formed.

"Let's go, Kanji. Stick close to me." And off he goes running. Any shadows in the way, they were instantly met with Souji's sword.
