The fog. It was a curious thing, really. Sheik didn't know what to make of it. If he closed his eyes and tried to imagine what it was similar to, he compared it to the ice cavern that was held behind Lord Jabu-Jabu. It was where he had protected Princess Ruto, a strangely amusing young woman who insisted Link was her fiance. He had always wondered what the princess would think if she knew. Of course, she probably did.

It was difficult to see, even for Sheik. To help, he lifted his right hand, the one that likely bound him to Zelda and he fired well-controlled domes of fire to offer a little leeway in terms of visibility. When he felt that wasn't about to work any longer, he used Deku Nuts. What he didn't expect to see was the Hero, who looked less than... appropriate.

Well, then. It looks as though he has returned.

The hero had expected to come across things in the fog, but exploding deku nuts were not really on that list. He had jumped when it had landed close to him and cried out in surprise. It could only be one person.

He had to squint through the veil of mist to see him though. "Sheik? What are you doing out here?" He felt like fool for having been caught off guard by the Sheikah, even though that seemed to be a trait of his. He felt even more foolish that his voice had yet to return to normal. It was still nasally and gross sounding.

"I could ask you the same thing," Sheik replied, carefully evading the question. It wasn't as though he had anything to hide. He was interested in understanding what the fog was all about. There had been rumors that people were ill. There had been rumors of things happening at night again, and not the normal odd things. There was something more going on, the sort of something that Zelda didn't need to be involved in.

Which was precisely why he was standing in front of Link. He drew his hands over his chest and stared at the Hero expectantly.

He should have expected such an answer from Sheik. He frowned and gave him the true reason why he was out. But not before he sniffled a bit. "I'm out to get tissues. And maybe some potion or whatever they have to make me feel better." It was pretty obvious that he wasn't well. He still had circles under his eyes, and he couldn't stop sniffling.

"So, what are you up to?" He hoped he wasn't up to something too dangerous. If Sheik was going out to do something, Link wanted to be in on it too. He knew that he couldn't with this cold though.
