Souji always believed that experience would make you a better man. Everyone has hang ups and everyone becomes nervous at one point. It was all natural. Or so Souji thought. He arrived at the library to find that Kanji had already been sitting there waiting for him.
“It’s okay. I just started anyway…” He was still uncomfortable. All the events that had occurred had made him question his masculinity again. And that was something that was extremely important to him. Not just because of his past experience, but because it was important to the memory of his father.
“I just started with math….it’s….I’m going to fail, sempai.”
Souji wasn't too entirely comfortable with this either. But still, he was glad that he was able to see Kanji. He took a seat next to him to see what he was having trouble with. "Kanji, don't say that. You're not gonna fail if I can help it..." Souji retorted. He wasn't going to let him fail his math class.
They were going to have to talk about the most recent events at a later time.
Nope, he was not talking about the latest events, he would just ignore that any of it even happened. “I just don’t get any of this math stuff.” He wasn’t’ the brightest crayon in the box, and he was really only around to beat things down in the television. If he failed, he’d have to go back home to Inaba. It wouldn’t be such a bad thing, but he really didn’t want to go.
