Who: Junyi & Bofu When: Today - Afternoon What: Zhang He's gone to examine his gardens; after all, there's a chance that one of the other animalistic-like people have plans of eating his flowers. Warnings: ...Nothing, I'm sure.
Bofu had found his way outside as soon as the day dawned. He wasn't sure what was going on but that wasn't going to stop him from having fun while he was like this! He bounded outside and paused only briefly to decide where to go. He wanted wildlife; park or gardens? The gardens were closer. So that's where he went.
A couple hours later he was getting bored with rubbing all over the various trees and plants and rolling around in the grass and....ooooo, butterfly! He pounced without getting ready first. That proved ineffective and the insect got a way. Drat.
Then something fanning caught his attention and he turned to look. Junyi!! He started to rush up to the other man and rub all over him but then he noticed the tail feathers. Feathers....mmm....
Instead, he hid in the nearest tuff of flowers and waited. He waited until the other neared his position before getting down into a crouch. His butt wiggled just before he jumped out and attacked the nearest feather!
Zhang He was still growing accustomed to his feathered appendage when he felt the increasing tension. It was like having a fish at the end of a line and attempting to pull it in. At first, he thought he'd been caught on a flower or a stick of bamboo or something of that nature.
He turned. An initial look and he didn't see anything. "Hm...? Certainly not my imagination. My tail feathers are not so long that they would become hazardous, yes? Nothing so extravagantly beautiful can be so difficult, even to manage. I would rather say my hair is far more complex than these lovely feathers."
His body followed and as he leaned over he began to peer through the long-stemmed flowers.
Bofu hunkered back down in the grass and flowers when Zhang He turned around to catch him. He liked this game. It was cat and mouse! Only, for the moment it was cat and bird, and the bird was actually doing the seeking. But that didn't bother Ce. It was still fun. And he wasn't afraid of this bird.
When He finally uncovered his spot Bofu cheerfully made what might have been considered a purr--it was a growly sound, almost a huff, but it sounded friendly rather than not. It was a tiger's version of a purr. At his cubby age it came off rather similar to a cheetah's squeak, but don't tell him that.
Then he pounced the hand that had been parting the stems.
Unlike most birds, Zhang He wasn't about to try to flap his arms and fly away. It wouldn't have worked first of all. Second, it just... didn't seem like something he would do. Therefore, when he found a kitten at his hand, he simply paused.
Markings like a tiger... Playful in all aspects... A growling that seemed so very familiar. That just couldn't be, though! There was no way, no how. Absolutely not. So what if he'd woken up with a tail? So what if he'd become some sort of strange peacock?
"Hm... You do not appear to have an owner," he commented as he reached over with his free hand to pat Ce.
