Who: Kain Highwind, OPEN
Where: the park
When: all day during the first day of the change!plot
Summary: Kain goes to the park to hide figure out these new appendages.
Warnings: Hopefully not, but I give no guarantees. He's a grumpy fellow.

Kain found himself a nice little spot surrounded by trees deep inside the park and took up residence there. He didn't take the cape off just yet but he hesitantly lifted one wing until it slid out from hiding and he could examine it. For once in his life he became frustrated with his helmet and its majestic shape--as it kept getting in the way and poking his wing--and yanked it off in a fit. His golden hair promptly fell into his face and he swiped it away.

He examined the wing once more. It was definitely a dragon's wing. He would recognize the leathery membrane and hard scales anywhere. They were just like his father's dragon's. For a moment, he just stood there in mute awe.

Not startle him, huh? But rushing up to a Dragoon who was a little jumpy grumpy at the moment was not exactly the brightest idea. He saw her from the corner of his eye and immediately went into action as she rushed up to him. He threw over the cloak on his wing and spun around to face his attacker in one fluid moment....anditwasRydia. He stopped mid-motion, kind of frozen.

"...Miss Rydia," he managed to "growl" out. (It wasn't so much as a growl as a grumble-y disuse and uncertain low tone for the unusual circumstances.)
