Shinjiro took a while longer to arrive, as slow as his fastest speed was what with the limping.

Last few weeks hadn't been kind of him.

He nodded at Akihiko when he arrived, his usual cigarettes absent when he came over.

Akihiko looked up at the standing Shinji when he arrived, slouched over with his elbows on his lap. "Hey..." was all he could manage to get out at the time being. He hadn't really noticed him limping at all. Would he care at this point? More than likely to the point where he'd ask if he was okay.

"...I've never had to deal with this before so I don't know how else to." And really, Akihiko had been. He knows he isn't the type to say those things to anyone, and he knows that under normal circumstances that he wouldn't. But still, he did.
