Warnings: ...Katsu is being a dick lately, like srly. :O
Katsuya was very upset about the other night when he found out he couldn't summon Helios. Not only was he mad at the fact that his and Shinjo's lives had been in danger at the time he found out, but he was mad at Helios for not heeding his call! What was wrong with that uptight feline!
He punched a nearby wall and winced. He licked at his knuckles as he continued walking down the street.
It was late now, half through the Forbidden Hour by this time, and he was on the prowl to kill as many Shadows as he could for revenge. Earlier he had found a certain place he had been seeking lately. It felt odd walking in there tonight; there was no familiar butterfly floating around the door, no sorrowful aria accompanied by a soft piano, and no faint smell of magical paint to tickle his senses when he entered. However, he did get what he was looking for: a new Persona.
Mananan.
Mananan was a Magician class Persona. Katsuya had never summoned a Magician before--he was incapable of it. But tonight he called upon the wily Mananan to reign down torrents of sea-water down on his enemies.
When he came upon the first Shadow of the night, he holstered his gun and let the crafty magician take over for the moment. The Persona appeared in a haze of mist and settled in the air just slightly in front and above Katsuya's head. When the mist didn't fade away at first Katsuya thought something was wrong, but then he realized that the mist was apart of the robe the entity wore. The robe also changed colors periodically, flowing straight from radiant red to dusk blue and back to sea-green, never ending and practically never repeating a color twice. He sat crossed-legged in the air, and across his lap lay a sword and on his head a flaming helmet. (Odd, considering the Persona's affinity to water and weakness to fire.) Katsuya smirked somewhat evilly as he watched the Persona combat the Shadow.
The creature died in a flood of water, and Suou retracted the Persona. He took a deep breath and, still smirking wryly a bit, continued down the street to find another victim of his wraith.
