The last time he had seen her was shortly after she had been resurrected. How beautiful she looked when she returned to him from the cold grasp of death. Yet how betrayed he had felt when she pierced his body and killed him. That image continued to haunt his dreams. How impossible sleep was for him ( ... )

Luckily for Furiae, she did not know about anything that happened after she 'died'. The only thing that she did know that Angelus had taken her place as Goddess. Somehow she had come back to life in the very place she had plunged the dagger into her chest. Now that she was thinking about it, maybe second chances weren't as great as they seemed to be. Inuart had seemed troubled when she had spoken to him, but she did not want to assume because it was only words and no emotion behind them.

Pushing those thoughts aside, she turned her attention to the door that was opening and gave herself a smile. It eventually turned into a real one (not a forced one) by the time he opened the door fully.

"Yes, it has been a while," she said with a nod of her head.

"You look rather tired.. If this is a bad time, I could always come back."

"Oh no, that is not the case at all," Inuart quickly replied and lifted his hand to take hold of hers.

Now that he was saw her in the flesh, with her hand in his own, there was no doubt in his mind that this was indeed the real Lady Furiae. She looked just as perfect as he had always remembered, a beauty unrivaled anywhere. It was then in this moment that he knew what he felt for Furiae. Despite everything that had happened, everything that she had done, Inuart was still hopelessly in love with her.

"Please, Furiae..." He squeezed her hand. "I have been waiting a very long time to see you again."

Furiae was surprised when Inuart reached out for her the way she did, but she did not pull her hand away from him. There were instincts within her that screamed for her to do something, but she was overpowering said instincts.

She smiled softly and nodded in agreement with what he said; if she could not find the words to express how she felt then she would use body language to let him know. He was here in front of her and there was no backing out now. Furiae knew what she needed to do and there was nothing going to stop her. Not even her own fear.

"As I have been waiting to see you, dear Inuart."
