You know, 70% of the time I really hate the art and design community. They tend to be really full of them selves and think they are 'oh so different' then most every one else. But then I remember that the other 30% of us don't all suck, and I remember just how much I love Art, and I smile and continue on with my day

IASFM. i'm not interested in art and design as much as i used to but, damn, it feels good to be part of the 30%. just, idk. XD all "artists" have so much to offer, i don't understand why people have to be so.. stuck up about it? i remember i was telling this girl about how much i loved her works and she was just, "i know, lol. thanks."

I fallow a lot of trends, and read a lot of blogs and design sites... but I'm not actually IN the community. I just kinda... doddle around in the shadows like a creeper! >D

Yeah, I ran into a lot of it at NSCAD. I met some good people there, that didn't suck... but arg. I donno, I think I had really bad luck there on top of it all.

I know a few people like that.. and it sucks. Its fine to be confident.. but god dammit. YOu just wanna punt them in the head with an elephant.

I have had the same issues through high school and with a good chunk of my profs of NSCAD. It drives me nuts. And this is part of what I was talking about.

I can't stand it. They go on about how everything is art. And show me this picture of a white canvas with like.. 3 lines on it.. saying how amazing it is and all that shit. But my drawings weren't good enough because they weren't, as you say, high brow enough.
