Necessary Purchases

Some of you will understand. We got two more sewing machines last week. But AEddie you are saying, you already have plenty. And that is true. We each have our primary machines and sergers. There is also the vintage hand crank conversion and a cheapo battery operated one.

Machine #1 is a mid 1920's Singer treadle with feet and original cabinet.

Enough machines? LOL Until you have a dozen, like me, you don't start thinking "enough". Don't take that as a challenge, though, okay?

I am loving your repair place. I have a couple of my Eldredges I would LOVE to have repaired that well. In case the world ends, or technology goes away, I want to have a couple of treadles in prime condition. One is a regular machine, but the two other I want done are a lockstitch machine and a handcrank.

I loved the first machine, btw. The painting was in such glorious condition. Beauty, she is.

We are getting there. Including sergers we are up to eight. We will have a treadle to go along with our hand crank.
