today I opened my familiar pack of extra polar ice, and found NOT the usual familiar silver wrappers which many of you have watched me twist compulsively into what my mother calls "gum eggs" BUT RATHER tissue-thin crispy paper wrappers

WHAT?!?! I obviously have gone way to long without gum.

It's only been a few weeks, and I usually go through multiple packs a week. Extra Polar Ice is my favorite too!
