I have written a few stories, all original fiction. I often adapt character races from legend and fiction, but the characters and worlds are mine. Some stories are one-offs (so far), but others seem to form series with a shared world and/or shared characters. These include:

Busy making this list? Yeah, that took a few hours spread over a couple of days. {chuckle, GRIN}

Busy writing the stories? Not as much. They're mostly pretty short (most are a few-hundred words long), and fairly well spread out. A couple date to early last year, but most are last fall onwards. {Smile} It's just that a few of my friends post as many or more stories in a week as I'm likely to write in a month. {chuckle, SMILE, wink, GRIN}

{breath in} Well, I'm doing better now. {sigh} I'm in the first good pause in too long in a significant bout of tooth trouble. However, it is a pause, and one that allows me to chew at that. {SMILE} So that's looking up. {BIG SMILE}

I've been debating about doing so. Do you think I should? {curious smile}

I'm just not sure. I posted a question where I explain my reasons, but mainly I figure this is plot-optional. Kind of like our life, I want some parts of Fern's like to resemble a story, and some parts not to. {Smile}

hmm... well it would make it simpler if the letters got indexed somewhere for people to find but i can see your point if you don't want to label them as ~story~ per se...

Your story post today reminded me that I really should catch up on the Fern Letters, so I looked for them here, but the link above doesn't work. :( Thought you'd like to know.

Thanks. This is the second time I had to fix it. They seem to change the way they do two-word tags once in a while. {lop-sided smile}

{LAUGH} This is one of those forward-dated posts that's supposed to stay off my friends' friends-pages. Click "Edit" next to the date, change the date to some time in the future. Then check off the date-out-of-order box, so it stays off your friends' fiends-pages and doesn't try to make the next post even later. {Smile}

I tried to choose a date far enough in the future, I shouldn't have to adjust it any time soon. {REALLY BIG GRIN}
