Very poignant. You managed to pack a lot of emotion into a small space. Anyone who's ever had such leave-takings from loved ones can identify.

You know, I wouldn't want to be in Gimli's shoes if anything ever happened to Legolas. Not that anything did, but the thought of an angry, grieving Thranduil is enough to make anyone pause.
