A Quick Spate of Gratitude
Here I sit, listening to the unseasonal thunder rattling outside my windows, grateful that when the time came for me to replace my old and failing computer system, I opted for a laptop that is fully capable of being unplugged and running on battery power during the storm. Why didn't I do this years ago??

Thanks for posting this, and glad that you are well and safe. Wish I could get out three times a week, but well...that's not going to happen any time soon for me, unless I have to leave 'cause of the bed bugs mom may have brought into my house.
As for the computer, I regret buying the desktop to be honest, for exactly the reasons you stated - and for mobility in the house. But the budget was imposed on me, so...
